Update: 7-21-08
What's good party people? Small update on what's what in the world of Change... We're not moving to Houston. Not in God's plans, so I had to say miss me with that. So, still looking for the right job in the Mitten to keep me stationary for the moment. Got lock on a great opportunity, currently praying it comes through.
So
even amidst all the craziness in my life, I'm not stagnant on the Hip-Hop tip.
The pen still bleeds on papyrus, and I still sling saliva at the microphone...
so here's a freebie from me to you. Tell your friends, let em know there's a
freebie and a dope one at that... Enjoy.

Update:
6-26-08
So yeah,
word up peoples. It's been a hot minute since I've been able to update the site.
Lost a job, got a new job which took up a grip of my time for the last 8 months.
But don't fear... I lost that job now too... thanks to downsizing and unscrupulous
methods in the financing department, that company is likely going out of business
soon. Unfortunate, they've got some nice people working there. Regardless...
with every update (no matter how few and far between) there comes a bit of news...
Looks like me and the fam could be headed to Houston, TX for the permanent.
New job, new house, new world, etc... Keep us in prayer over that, as it's a
decision we'll have to make fairly quickly.
So, you're reading this update, and you're saying to yourself, "Self, I
don't have Change's new album yet...", right? Well what are you waiting
for? go to the Store and pick up a copy before you
leave the site. You can preview the whole album on the splash
page, so you've got no reason not to pick it up. You know it's fresh already.
Plus, if we do move to Tejas... it'll be another hot minute before I crank out
any new material. So yeah, feast now while you can. Buy a copy for your grand-moms
too, it's elderly friendly.

Dropping some new tracks on ya'll from the new album... Hope you dig!
Update: 6-27-07
Yes, yes, ya'll... and it don't stop!
Dropping this tidbit of news to you fresh off the press. Change officially inked a record deal earlier this week with End of Earth Records™, an independant Hip-Hop label based in Carlsbad, CA. The label is fresh off the ground from owner TreyQel, longtime dj/producer for Future Shock and one of the founding members of the "super-crew" Tunnel Rats.
The initial roster includes Ahred Strange Indeed (Future Shock), Nickels (Lojique, Oldominion, Comunalien), Darke Brothers (Scribbling Idiots), Ruffian (Scribbling Idiots), Re:Flex the Architect (Scribbling Idiots), Christawn, Common Child, Spoken Nerd, Mellow Drum Addict, Afaar, and as mentioned, Change. To hear songs by these artists check out their myspace pages and The Official End Of Earth Records MySpace Page, as well as the soon coming website: www.EndOfEarthRecords.com
Change is currently finishing up his new Full Length LP "Same As It Never Was" for hopes of an early fall release. With a single release ready for the tail end of summer and plans for a Video soon after, this year looks like a breakthrough for Change, as well as his new label, End of Earth Records™.
The new year is well under way, and in this update it's time to inform you that Change is also well under way, on a brand new LP slated for release in 07'. The as yet untitled LP is approximately 40% completed, with 5 tracks already recorded, and more already written. This LP boasts a change in sound for the Michigan emcee, as it promotes and rehashes the most golden era in Hip-Hop, the mid 90's. Both in beats and rhymes, this new LP has the feeling of a classic dropped in 1995. Highlighting grimy sample-driven beats, with rugged rhymes atop, this LP is literally taking Change to another level. The LP is slated for 3 guest appearances, which currently include Braille and Othello of Lightheaded fame.
With production being handled by some of the best samplers in the underground such as PacoNaut, Anno Domini, and Clockwork, this LP is riddled with bangers to take you back to the golden era in this industry, when Hip-Hop was about the streets and the culture, not the money and fame. Keep checking back as we'll continue to update you on the progress of this new project as news becomes available. Expect the first single "Mount Up" produced by PacoNaut to be released in the near future.
Update: 2-06-07
Happy new year, a lil late on my part. Word up. Hope ya'll had a blessed holiday season. I was busy enjoying life with my family, working with my man Othello in the studio, and rocking the mic at some local venues. Appreciate all the fans who came out to support.
So what's crackin in the
07 so far? Plenty. First off, I'm busy like a beaver in "The Den"
working on multiple projects for the family over at illect Recordings. Currently
working on 3 projects to be released from them in the near term and an additional
project slated for a fall release. Big Ups to the Scribbling Idiots for recognizing
the skill, and bringing the illect family on board. Big ups to JustMe and the big homie
CAS METAH! S.I. making moves in the 07' folks, get on board or get beat down.
I'm also working on a project with a local Acoustic Pop artist, and we laid
down his first track yesterday in "The Den". His name is David Lapham,
and you can check him out on his Myspace
site.
In other news, my son just turned two on January 31st, and I'm starting to
feel old. Not old enough to put the mic down, but older. You get the point...
Anyway, keep
it locked. It's a new year, with many things on the horizon... Like free downloads
of all new music from your favorite artist (that's me) and even more... Be easy.
Update: 10-21-06
Welcome back
ya'll!!! Back with that finesse like yes, yes, ya'll.. and it don't stop for
06' and right into 07'. Like the big homie YSG says, "You already know".
Yes, you know how WE do, and we've got to keep the space fresh for the lyrically
blessed. Hope your retna's dig the new threads on the site. Sporting it like
a double brested vest, with some Arnold Palmer pants like WOAH. Keep it locked,
ya'll.

What's
good fam? Hope all is well with you and yours. These last few weeks have been
crazy busy for me. Doing a lot of engineering projects right now, and I'm
loving it. Hearing a lot of great hip-hop before it's released. Can't hate
that! I just finished Mixing and Mastering the lead single for Braille's upcoming
album to be released on 7" vinyl for his European tour April 15th through
May 15th. If you don't know who Braille is, stop sleeping on dude and hit
his website up: www.braillehiphop.com
or his record label at www.hiphopismusic.com
They've got a great lineup of artists over there, and I'm thrilled to be working
so closely with them. I hope that continues well into the future.
The new EP "Penny For Your
Thoughts" is coming together nicely. It's about 50% complete and should be near 80% complete by next weekend. Keep your eyes peeled for that. That's it for today, folks. Keep it gully, and keep it Hip-Hop.

trade it for the world.
